"Amalia Hillmann is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer from
San Jose, California. She graduated from Concordia University,
Nebraska in May 2009, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic
Design and Illustration. Although she lived in the midwest for four
years during college, Amalia's love of the ocean and marine life is
still strong and can be seen often in her artwork. The illustrations
above incorporate pen and ink, watercolor, cut paper, and colored
pencil techniques.
