Lisa Horstman is a children's book author/illustrator living in Knoxville, Tennessee. She creates her art by building stop-motion animation puppets, photographing them, and then combining them with background paintings. Her latest book is "Squawking Matilda" (Marshall Cavendish Kids), about a girl and her pesky pet chicken.
