I am a visual artist living in Stouffville Ontario Canada. My work is in watercolour, mixed media and Sumi-e [Japanese ink painting] I just happened across this project and think it is a fantastic idea. My family spent many wonderful days on gulf coast beaches and I wanted to make a contribution.
These are two EnsÅ paintings - Japanese meaning circle. It symbolizes enlightenment, strength, elegance, the Universe, and the void. It also symbolizes an "expression of the moment". All things we need to deal with this crisis. It is usually painted in one movement and there is no possibility of modification. They are original paintings 2.5 in by 3.5 ATC size in acrylic paint on rice paper mounted on acid free card stock with my chop or seal.
A small contribution to a very large problem.

Brave Lucie is a double sided and laminated card by Ginger Nielson.
Her "Baby Turtle" piece is a digital watercolor. Two sides, one enlargement on the back, and laminated. Both sides are shown here but the card is created back to back.
It was so impressed to see the baby turtle rescue and the care given to each tiny creature. If this image will help them back into the clean ocean, I am happy to participate.

My name is Penny Noble. I am a freelance Artist and I live in Manhattan Beach Ca. I love the bathing suit and I wondered if it was scandalous in that time. I want to thank Kelly again for all her hard work and for giving me a chance to contribute to helping clean up the horrible oil spill. My 11 year old Granddaughter was moved to paint a Dolphin picture to help too. She was very happy when it was sold. You can see some of my work at http://pennynoble.blogspot.com/

Thank you Kelly for making this all happen!

After illustrating for many years, California artist Connie McLennan turned to children’s books and finally to fine art. This starfish appears of the back cover of one of her 13 illustrated books, a paperback copy of which will be included along with the original art. The 5.25 x 5.25”painting is acrylic on watercolor paper, matted to 10 x 10”. It is reminiscent of the familiar starfish story: we can';t save all of the animals--but we can save this one … and this one…and this one …
