Ripples do spread and eventually dissipate.....

Hey Everyone!

I enjoyed a lovely day at the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst , MA this past Sunday. I told people about Ripple, showed examples of the wonderful art that you all have created from your hearts and talked about the work the volunteers do. The  museum visitors  made their own pieces of art to send to the volunteers at the IBRRC as Thank Yous for all of their hard work. I met David Hyde Costello and saw him draw little lovely sketches for each and every person who came to see him. He had a giraffe puppet of the character from his book "I Can Help"- that he made that was amazing.

We are in the last 10 days of Ripple. At the end of the month - all sales will stop. I will leave the blog up for people to come and see what you all did. I invite all of the artists to do one of 2 things with the art that has not sold. 1. Sell it on your own blog to benefit one of these four organizations. 2. Mail it to the organization of your choice as a Thank you to a volunteer along with a note. All links are on the right.

Any questions email ripplesketches@verizon.net

Thanks Guys- Kelly

  1. Kelly, I want to thank you so much for having brought the issue to my attention in the first place (the news in Japan didn't mention it much), and for providing a way for me to get involved. It has been a growing experience for me in many, many ways. You really did good, Kelly.
