Bethanie Murguia is a writer and illustrator living in Sausalito, California. This image is watercolor and ink. She lives one block from the beach where she plays in the sand, kayaks, and cavorts with the seals, birds and jellyfish. The bay is a huge part of her life.
Her first picture book will be available from Tricycle Press/Random House in 2011.
