I have felt so helpless watching this devastating tragedy... what can
one person do, really? It's so frustrating! And then I found this
project via IF and it was like Kelly Light found a candle to light in
the darkness! What a wonderful thing to do, and I thank her for giving
me something inspiring to do rather than being idle and sad (And
wallowing in artist block!)

My name is Misty Rich. I am 37, have lived in Northern California all
of my life, and am an avid animal lover, writer, artist, film buff and
a graphic designer-by-day. As a conceptual artist and illustrator, I
have aspired to work in the art/film/publishing industries, including
writing and illustrating children's books. I am currently putting
together a gallery show for the month of July, and am designing my own
