My name is Deborah Davidson and I am a Japan-based translator and Etegami artist. Etegami is a traditional Japanese postcard art that combines drawings with words-- in this case, the accompanying words are a quote from Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories by Dr. Seuss. Each of my Etegami is a hand-painted original on a soft washi postcard (approx 4" x 6").

At the heart of this effort is a group of children's book illustrators. Dr. Seuss looms large over our world. His life was spent teaching children in ways that were so fun and silly- it never felt like teaching - so the lessons went straight to the heart. My name is Tami Cohen. I'm a graphic designer & illustrator in Pennsylvania and the sea stars have been my muse for weeks now. I created this lino block carving print using, obviously, my hand cut lino, printer's ink, magic marker and metallic ink. The artwork measures approx 4x4 on cold press watercolor paper.
